The Beast of Daniel &
Revelations
Revelation 13
1And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and
saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon
his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2And
the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of
a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his
power, and his seat, and great authority.
Daniel 7
1In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon
Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the
dream, and told the sum of the matters. 2Daniel spake and said, I
saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove
upon the great sea. 3And four great beasts came up from the
sea, diverse one from another. 4The first was like a lion, and had
eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted
up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was
given to it. 5And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear,
and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it
between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh. 6After
this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it
four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to
it. 7After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth
beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron
teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet
of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had
ten horns.
O.k. from these two scriptures we can
see the same symbols used here. In Daniel these beast are separate. In
Revelations the beast have become one, still with its own identity but have
formed some kind of alliance with each other.
Alliance?
Each of these beasts are symbols, but
symbols of what?
Daniel 7
15I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the
midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.
16I came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the
truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the
things. 17These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which
shall arise out of the earth.
23Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be
the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and
shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
Chapter 17 says these beasts
represent kings and here verse 23 says the fourth beast shall be the fourth
kingdom! This is a critical principal, because as we study the prophecies of
the Bible in particular beast. A beast in Bible prophecy always represents a
kingdom or a nation along with that ruler of that kingdom or nation. So one
place it says kings in another it says kingdoms. When we get to the New
Testament and we see the beast that symbolizes the World government it also
symbolizes the leader of that world government the Antichrist.
O.k. When will these nations
exist?
9I beheld till the thrones were cast down,
and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair
of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his
wheels as burning fire.
What does this
teach? That human governments will rule mankind until it is time for the
establishment of the Kingdom of GOD. Here Daniel is seeing the removal of Human
government and the LORDS kingdom established. 9I beheld till the
thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit

great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and
his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. 12As concerning
the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives
were prolonged for a season and time.
I beheld even

flame. This is what happens at Armageddon, when JESUS CHRIST comes he destroys
the antichrist and puts him in the lake of fire Revelations verse 19 & 20,
then he says 12As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their
dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time. So
the rest of the nations were aloud to live a little longer, live through the
millennial reign under the guidance of the Church. We know that right before
the thrones are cast down and JESUS CHRIST is crowned the last thing he does is
to destroy the antichrist verse Daniel11 & 12
20And the beast was taken, and with him the false
prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had
received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both
were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Verse # 12 of
Daniel 7 is the key when will these nations exist, 12As
concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet
their lives were prolonged for a season and time. During
the millennial reign.
There are some people much more
intelligent than me that teach these nations are historic nations, Babylon,
media Persia, Greece, and Rome. This verse disproves that. I cannot explain to
you why they have missed this.
This verse is stating that these nations
will be on the Earth at the second coming. If this is true than and we are
living in the time of the second coming then those nations should be in
existence right now.
Next question, if these nations are on
the earth now, are there nations represented by these symbols?

Daniel 7:4
says: "The first was like a lion
Great Britain's official animal symbol is the lion. An
article appearing in the Indianapolis Star on January 4, 1980, was
entitled, "After the British Lion, the Russian Bear." On some of
Britain's flags, there has been the image of the lion. It is common to see
Britain referred to as the lion in news articles and in political cartoons. In Webster's
Third New International Dictionary under "lion," it states that
the lion is the symbol of Great Britain.
Daniel 7:5
says: "And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear
This
nation symbolized by a bear is Russia. It is common knowledge that Russia's
symbol is the bear. An article in the Indianapolis Star, which was
previously referred to, clearly illustrates this. On the covers of Time
magazine on October 27, 1980, and on May 21, 1984, a bear was pictured to
represent the nation of Russia.
Daniel 7:4
says: "The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the
wings thereof were plucked
It
is extremely interesting that the lion had "eagle's wings." A major
nation today has the eagle for its national symbol. To identify that nation, we
need to look only on the reverse side of the United States' one-dollar-bill.
There you will see the great seal of the United States, which is the eagle. A
radio commercial which was used to sell United States savings bonds during the
Vietnam War era said, "Go with the eagle-- the red, white, and blue eagle.
Buy United States savings bonds!" On the cover of Time magazine,
October 27, 1980, an eagle was used to represent the United States
Daniel 7:6
says: "After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard
The
next prediction for our time, after the lion, bear, and eagle, is the leopard.
It was said about the leopard that "...dominion was given to it."
Which nation, in the last 100 years, has had dominion in world affairs? It
can't be the United States because she is the eagle. This can't refer to Russia
because she's the bear. There is a nation, which has been the aggressor in the
last three major wars on earth: the Franco-German War of 1870, the Great War
(World War I), and World War II. That nation is Germany.
Notice
in Daniel 7:6 that the LEOPARD had "four heads." The other three
beasts (nations) of Daniel 7 had only one head each. In Bible prophecy, a beast
always represents a nation along with its ruler. Multiple heads on a beast
represent the number of times that particular nation will rise and fall. Thus,
the four heads of the leopard spoken of in Daniel 7:6 represent Germany's First
Reich, Second Reich, Third Reich (Hitler's regime), and the Fourth Reich, which
is now rising. A prominent United States politician has referred to the present
restoration of power to West Germany as the Fourth Reich (George W. Ball,
"Three and a Half Superpowers to Rule the World," Life, March
29, 1968, page 81). This Fourth Reich will reach its full power within the
framework of the new European Union.

7After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth
beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron
teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet
of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had
ten horns.
8I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among
them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns
plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of
man, and a mouth speaking great things.

23Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be
the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and
shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. 24And
the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another
shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall
subdue three kings. 25And he shall speak great words against the
most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change
times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times
and the dividing of time.
Revelation 17
12And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten
kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one
hour with the beast. 13These have one mind, and shall give their
power and strength unto the beast. 14These shall make war with the
Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of
kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
This is a
prophecy about the last power on earth a ten nation union and the Bible teaches
that the ten horns on this represent ten kings that will confederate together
with the antichrist and will be in power at the second coming. Cause the Bible
says that the beast shall make war with the lamb. We know who the lamb is
that’s JESUS CHRIST and the LAMB shall over come them for he is LORD of LORD
and KING of KINGS. This is when JESUS CHRIST comes back on Earth puts down the
thrones of men we have already gone over that.
So the big
question is who is the Ten Horn Kingdom, the big answer we don’t know! However
here are some clues.
We do know that
there are ten toes on the image of Daniel chapter 2, and we do know that those
toes are iron mingled with clay. We can prove that the iron mingled with clay
kingdom is the revised Holy Roman Empire, which is centered in Europe. So we
know that this 10-nation union will probably come out of Europe from somewhere.
Now we know the European union growing in power exponentially, the euro has
become very strong. The problem with this is that the European union has 25
members and adding, the prophecy says there will be ten kings, so how do we
sort that out, i have know idea just yet. Now just taking a stab at this there
is another arm of the European union the military arm, it has 10 members, could
it be we don’t know. I could give you all kind of different scenarios I like to
stick to the facts that the Bible gives us. If I don’t know something I will
tell you instead of trying to concoct some type of scenario are I will say here
is a theory and that is just what it is a theory.
Now there is
another organization in Europe called The Common Wealth of Independent States,
that we are not hearing too much about right now. It was the 10 nations that
joined itself together after the dissolution of the Soviet Union and Russia is
a member of The Common Wealth of Independent States, we know that Russia
becomes a dominant force again in the endtime. Russia might even end up joining
the European union I don’t know just yet.
Another theory, people mention a lot I
don’t think it is true, but a lot of people have noted that the world has been
divided up into ten regions. The club of Rome commissioned a book to be written
back in 1974 and in that book there is a map of the world divided up into ten
regions. The prophecy states that this fourth beast is separate from the others.
