16For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life.
10The
thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that
they might have life, and that they might have it more
abundantly.
Because
of our sin, we are separated from God.
Romans 3:23
23For
all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
The
Penalty for our sin is death.
Romans 6:23
23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The
penalty for our sin was paid by Jesus Christ!
Romans 5:8
8But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
If we
repent of our sin, then confess and trust Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior,
we will be saved from our sins!
Romans 10:9-13
9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Acts 8:35-38
35Then
Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him
Jesus.
36And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? 37And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. 38And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

8Be
not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his
prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to
the power of God;
32Whosoever
therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father
which is in heaven.

Hebrews 10:24,25
24And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
GOD gives
us Warning
42Watch
therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43But
know this, that if the goodman of the house had known
in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have
suffered his house to be broken up. 44Therefore be ye
also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. 45Who then is a faithful and wise servant,
whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due
season? 46Blessed is that servant, whom his lord
when he cometh shall find so doing. 47Verily I say unto
you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. 48But and if that
evil
servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his
coming; 49And shall begin to smite his
fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; 50The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, 51And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
1Verily,
verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the
door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other
way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth
them out. 4And when he putteth
forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the
sheep follow him: for they know his voice. 5And a
stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the
voice of strangers. 6This parable spake
Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them. 7Then said Jesus
unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the
sheep did not hear them.
9I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. 11I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
